You’re in Breskens, in Zeeuws-Vlaanderen, at the mouth of the Westerschelde with wide beaches and a maritime harbor. Port Scaldis is an apartment complex on the coast; from here you walk along the dike towards the beach and the Nieuwe Sluis lighthouse. In Natuurgebied Waterdunen you’ll see tidal nature and many birds, great for a walk or photography. By bike you follow the dune and dike network to Groede and Nieuwvliet, or further to Cadzand and Het Zwin. Fish and shipping belong to Breskens; at the Visserijmuseum in the harbor you get a good picture of it. For a day in the city, take the Westerscheldeferry to Vlissingen with its boulevard and ship views. Nearby are Groede at 4 km, Nieuwvliet at 7 km, Cadzand at 12 km and the fortified town Sluis at 15 km. Knokke-Heist in Belgium is about 25 km away.
If you want to charge your car, you’ll find about four charging points at the Hello Zeeland office. You can store your bike in front of the building or in the parking garage; charging e-bikes is not allowed. Access to the garage is with a tag; you’ll find the details in your Boarding Pass.
