Houseboat de Arne is a brand-new houseboat for four people, located in the peaceful De Arne harbour in Arnemuiden. The master bedroom has a comfortable double bed (140x200 cm), the second bedroom a cosy bunk bed. The open living and dining area has large windows with panoramic views over the Veerse Meer. The kitchen is equipped with coffee maker, kettle, microwave, oven, hob, fridge, wine glasses and dining table. Outside are two terraces: at the front a cosy seating area under a canopy, ideal for a morning coffee or a good book. On the roof awaits a luxury roof terrace where you can fully enjoy the sun and views over the lake.
Arnemuiden is a historic fishing village on Walcheren, located on the Veerse Meer. The area is peaceful and water-rich, perfect for those who love nature and peace. Middelburg is a short distance away, and via the Veerse Meer you can head towards Veere or the Zeeland coast. The combination of water, nature and the city within cycling distance makes this a special place.
Free parking is available at the large car park 'de Arne'. The entrance is accessible through the gate at the back of the boat, on the engine side. Everything can be easily arranged during your stay.
The houseboat is accessible via a walk of approximately 700 metres from the car park. A handy trolley is ready for your luggage on arrival. Please note: depending on water levels, the step onto the boat can be large. Parking is available at the large De Arne car park. One dog is welcome on board. Information about access can be found in the Boarding Pass.

All in all, a great experience with the boat gently bobbing along with the water in the harbor. The downside was that the pumps were very loud and every time I used the water I could hear the pumps, which disturbed my sleep a bit!

The place is beautifully located, very nice view, very quiet, large windows and well equipped. Some problems with the heating, too hot at night, several lamps need repair, but small in comparison.
A wonderful place if you like peace and water. At the time we were there it was still pre-season. No idea how crowded it is on the water during high season. The host was extremely friendly and helpful. Upon arrival there was a bottle of water in the fridge, because the water from the tap is not drinking water. Totally top arranged. Now we could make a nice cup of coffee, because that was also all there. In the houseboat was enough space for the 2 of us. With 4 people I can imagine that it can be a bit cramped. The deck with sun beds was lovely, especially when the sun came through.

Very nice and friendly meeting/host both at check-in and check-out :) very nice; well maintained houseboat, as seen in the pictures. A short adventure for my children. You have to realize that it is a houseboat and therefore a bit smaller ;) We would definitely book the accommodation again just the two of us.
We had a very pleasant stay at this small port. We loved that we had to go on an adventure to get to the boat. Life is beautiful and relaxing. The only downside was the dust in the boat and some problems with the sewage (odors coming back up). There was also some noise from the small technical room on the stern, which bothered us when we slept.
