How wonderful to treat yourself and your family to a nice stay on the coast of Zeeland. - Good for family holidays - What could be nicer than a cosy holiday home with a beautiful roof terrace - Located in the centre of Zoutelande - Funny layout with extra living room with kitchenette - Dog are NOT allowed in this house - This house is fully equipped. The spacious bedrooms offer a nice place for everyone. - There is a lovely sitting room where you can watch TV via streaming services. At the large dining table everyone can sit down to play a game or work. - There is a bathroom, toilet and bedroom on the ground floor. The second bathroom is on the the second floor as well as the other three bedrooms. - Perfect for families and small groups of friends. - A high chair and baby bed are available in the holiday home. - Pets are not allowed.
To get a good idea of the history, plan a visit to the Bunkermuseum: part of the Atlantic Wall. Do you like hiking, take a walk on the vast beach with the second highest dunes in the whole of the Netherlands! Stroll through the small 'center' of Zoutelande and drop in at fun tourist shops and unique boutiques. Our personal favorite: Cycle to Westkapelle for the famous lighthouse 't Hoge Licht where at the top of the tower - accompanied by a guide - you have an amazing view of the sea and a large part of Walcheren.
Very nice house, modern and very clean. A little remote, but very quiet. Stairs in the house a little steep.
The guests really enjoyed the house. Communication was perfect, the host was always responsive and flexible with requested extensions and extra linens. The house is exactly as shown in the pictures. Excellent house with quality appliances and shower and nice rooms. We only missed some more facilities nearby. We will definitely return, and super recommend!
We were received very warmly with numerous gifts from the region. A kit with dishwasher tablets etc. was also provided. The house is very tastefully decorated and offers plenty of space and all the described conveniences. However, there is not much in the immediate area except peace and quiet. The dam is ideal for walks overlooking the water. The garden and outdoor facilities are not yet finished. Beds are good, but the bedding rustles uncomfortably hard. The windows were closed, so you could only ventilate through the ventilation systems. OK at this time of year. There are no German TV programs, but there is a Smart TV. We had a great time with the family and can recommend it!
A great house for families or friends who want to cook for themselves. A small garden and right on the embankment. Nicely furnished, you can feel very comfortable :-) one small drawback however: the windows can't open all the way for ventilation if you don't have a key.
Our place was so cozy and perfect for our group of 6 (including two teenagers). The area is easily walkable and the nearby trail along the water was also great. The location was also very convenient to where we wanted to go. Totally exceeded our expectations!
Very nice vacation home in a great setting!
We were a group of 7 adults (3 couples + 1 single). The accommodation was perfectly fine and quiet. There is not much to do nearby but is compensated by the beautiful water all around.
Ideal for families
We spent a girls' weekend in the accommodation. Everything was as advertised and no further communication was necessary. The house is new, everything is high quality and modern. Bedding and towels were ample and clean. The rest of the cleanliness in the house was also fine, except for the floor, which after a few steps did not make the white socks shine. If you want peace and quiet, you will also be happy with the location. Despite being in a new housing development, the layout of the houses was pleasant. The location right on the water was a dream. As described in the boarding pass, we had booked the late-out check-out (12 hours for €31.50) 24 hours in advance. Unfortunately, this was not confirmed until 8:35 a.m. on the day of departure, so we could not and did not want to take advantage of it as our alarm clocks were ringing early. However, after a short email, we got the money back immediately.
