On the Zeeland coast lies an authentic farmhouse dating from 1870 with four charming holiday cottages, right next to the dunes and beach. From the garden, you can hear birds singing and the sea, and enjoy beautiful sunsets. The FlipFlop holiday cottage has been partially renovated and exudes nostalgia with its crooked walls, creaky floors and cosy details. A warm, cosy place full of charm and simplicity – ideal for an unforgettable beach holiday. Holiday home FlipFlop (approx. 40 m²) combines simplicity and atmosphere with modern comfort. On the ground floor, you will find a bright living room with a lounge sofa, smart TV and cosy dining table, adjacent to an open kitchen with a fridge with freezer compartment, 2-burner induction hob and Nespresso machine with milk frother. There is a separate toilet in the hall. Upstairs there are two bedrooms: bedroom #1 with a double bed and a new ensuite bathroom (2023) with shower and washbasin, and bedroom #2 with two single beds. Outside, FlipFlop has a sunny, fully enclosed private garden of approx. 60 m² with a lounge area, picnic table, parasol, hammock and a handy shed. It is a wonderful place to relax, also ideal for children and dogs who can play freely here. The cottage exudes authenticity and has its own character: low doorways (170–180 cm) and a staircase with a low ceiling require some caution. So, bend down ;). It is precisely these details that make FlipFlop a charming, cosy place where you can step back in time. Smoking and e-smoking (vaping) are not permitted in the cottages, gardens or on the grounds. In the yard, you will find a cosy communal garden with colourful flowers, hammocks and a picnic table. For children, there are natural play areas such as a water course and stepping stones, and there is a small animal pasture with rabbits and chickens. Around the fire pit, you can enjoy a campfire together and roast bread rolls or marshmallows. In the herb garden, you can pick your own herbs and, depending on the season, you can get fresh vegetables, fruit and eggs from our vegetable garden. We also have a beautiful picking garden full of flowers: feel free to put together your own bouquet, while our four friendly Ouessant sheep keep you company from the meadow.
We felt very comfortable. The beach family was very nice and helpful. Because the house is very old and small, it had a bit of a camping feel. This was made up for by the beautiful garden and the good facilities and cleanliness. The price is certainly reasonable for the high season and the area, but we thought it was a bit too high.
We had a wonderful stay in the very charmingly decorated FlipFlop Tiny House with a small garden. We enjoyed the peace and privacy and the fact that we could walk to the beach in a few minutes. A wonderful location. The hosts were very friendly and made us feel at home. Thank you very much!

For the 3rd time we have been at beach family with our family. It was again fantastic! We enjoyed it immensely! What a beautiful place, super nice people and right on the beach. Really great and definitely recommended! We like to come back again!
Unique place in terms of location, the area around the property was very well cared for, Menno a friendly host and being so close to the beach was super! During our stay there was a big storm which made it a special stay, but we feel like the house is a bit more comfortable in the summer when you spend more time outside in the garden etc. We were completely blown out and were able to give our child a wonderful beach premiere!
Enjoy! very cozy cozy house, we felt right at home :) very nice family, nice reception, casual and fun! The cottage has everything you need, nice private garden, nice forest path and quiet surroundings. So over the dike on the beach! The stairs can be a bit tricky for a sensitive back, so if you are not very mobile go for one of their larger houses, plenty of choice! The master bedroom is spacious and the smaller bedroom small (and sloping corner) but cozy! In short: highly recommended, we will definitely come back!
Nice accommodation, quiet location in a yard with plenty of privacy. The cottage is old, small and cozy. Fine to warm up in colder weather. Good wifi. Do not look for great luxury, everything you need for a comfortable stay is there. Location is unique, against the dike on the quiet beach between Westkapelle and Domburg. Out the door in the morning, open the gate, cross the dike and immediately get a breath of fresh air on the beach. Ideal for with children or the dog (in my case). The property is located (apart from its location on the coast) in a beautiful nature reserve with numerous small hiking trails along meadows, creeks,...etc. PS: for the surfers among us, this is a prime location. Perfect to stay, with one of the best surf locations in Zeeland right across the door!
