Come and enjoy our unique paradise on the coast of Zeeland, a green oasis of peace and quiet! Our small farm is located right at the bottom of the dunes, a short walk from the beach, surrounded by nature reserve 'Noordervroon' and a short bike ride from bustling Domburg (3 km) and picturesque Westkapelle (3 km). Spread over the beautiful yard of the old farmhouse, built in 1870, are a total of 4 cozy cottages, it is as if time has stood still! 'Beach House' is an authentic small house, recently partially renovated, ideal for 2 adults (and 2 children). You will not find luxury here and it is as if time has stood still. Think crooked walls, creaky floors and low doorways. The cottage is unique, cozy and lovingly decorated with great attention to detail. There are nice corners, old beamed ceilings and many authentic and playful details. The cottage has 2 bedrooms, bathroom with shower (via outside), simple kitchen and a lovely sunny enclosed private garden. With about 40m2 of living space, this house can really be called 'tiny'. In the small and bright living room there is a nice couch, recliner, and smart TV with Netflix. There is a simple kitchen with hot water, fridge with freezer, 4-burner stove and Nespresso coffee machine. From the hall you reach the separate toilet. The old narrow staircase to the second floor takes you to bedroom #1; with a comfortable 2-person box spring (180 x 200 cm). From this bedroom you reach via a connecting door bedroom #2; with two twin beds of 80x200cm and sink (cold water). The spacious private bathroom (with hot shower) is located in the garden. The bathroom can be reached right next to the front door of the house. (It is about 5 steps walking through the private garden to reach the bathroom door. :)) 'Beach House' features a sunny and green garden with a picnic table, umbrella and lounge sofa. The garden is fully fenced and about 60m2. It is a wonderful place to relax! Also wonderful for children and dogs to roam freely. NOTE: an old house comes with a manual! Please inform our guests that the stairs to the second floor are narrow and steep. Guests should note that the front door opening is low (about 170 - 180 cm). Further Information On request we have a gas barbecue, a wagon, beach umbrella and plenty of (beach) toys to borrow. It is also possible to rent different types of (electric) (bak)bikes (and dog cart) from us to explore the beautiful nature and surroundings by bike. In the yard there is a communal garden with flowers, a number of hammocks and a picnic table. There are some natural play elements for the children such as a water track and step poles. There is also a small animal pasture with bunnies and chickens. There is a fire pit to start a cozy campfire and roast sandwiches and/or marshmallows and a fresh herb garden. And of course, depending on availability in our vegetable garden, greens, fresh fruit and fresh eggs are available upon request. We also have our own beautiful picking garden with colorful flowers! Feel free to pick your own bunch of flowers. Our 4 friendly Ouessant sheep cozily watch from the picking garden! RIGHT ON THE BEACH Our small-scale farm is a lovely and idyllic place to relax and enjoy nature. From the garden you can hear singing birds, listen to the surf of the sea and see beautiful views. Within a few minutes walk you can enjoy the beautiful dunes, stand barefoot on the beach and see the most beautiful sunsets in the sea. All the ingredients are present for a relaxing and unforgettable beach vacation!
We could always relax. It didn't matter if it was sunny, windy or rainy. The accommodation offered us a relaxing home away from home during our vacation and we received a very warm welcome. We will definitely repeat our stay!
Tiny house in a very beautiful location. On a dike overlooking two lighthouses! The cottage is really for two people or a family of four. The garden is pleasant and private, with hammock and a nice bench. The only downside was; It was high summer when we slept here and especially the children's room did not really cool down. Owners are sweet and helpful. Had a very good time!!! Highly recommended!
