Blauwe Hof is a holiday home for four people in Koudekerke. It is situated close to the sea, in a rural setting by the water’s edge, with a terrace and garden in the polder offering peace, space and privacy. There are two bedrooms, each with two single beds, and one bathroom.

Cycle from Koudekerke to Dishoek along the dune path. Pause at Strandpaviljoen Kaapduin for coffee with a Zeeuwse bolus and a view of the North Sea; if you keep pedalling, continue along the dune path towards Zoutelande.

For a relaxed morning with kids, Hof Poppendamme in Grijpskerke is fun, with a large natural playground. Order pancakes or a juice with fruit from the region.

In the mood for culture and sea views? Visit the muZEEum in Vlissingen and then walk along Boulevard De Ruyter. Finish with coffee or an early meal at De Gevangentoren while ships pass by on the Westerschelde.

You stay in Koudekerke on Walcheren, a quiet village between fields and dunes. To the west lies the beach at Dishoek with high dunes and beach pavilions, ideal for beach days and short evening walks. Over the dunes you walk or cycle towards Zoutelande and further to Westkapelle, where the high sea dike and the lighthouse define the landscape.

By bike you ride along old dikes to Domburg for art and beach, or to Oostkapelle for De Manteling and Kasteel Westhove. Fancy water? At Veere on the Veerse Meer you can sail and SUP, with views of the historic town.

Urban variety is close by. Vlissingen with the boulevard and the shipping along the coast lies about 4 km away. Middelburg with the Abdij, museums and shops about 5 km. Veere around 10 km, Zoutelande about 6 km and Domburg about 12 km. This way you combine beach, nature and town without long distances.

You park for free at Blauwe Hof; there are several spaces available at the accommodation. You can store bikes in the beach hut next to the barn. Pets are not allowed. For other practical details, check your Boarding Pass.

The former barn exudes a sense of rural tranquillity, with characterful antique furniture from the owner’s shop lending the whole place a warm atmosphere.

You enter a large, open-plan living area that flows into the kitchen. Here you can cook together in a relaxed atmosphere; the kitchen is equipped with, amongst other things, a coffee machine, kettle, microwave, hob, plates and cutlery, wine glasses, cookware, dishwasher and fridge. You can slip straight from the kitchen to the dining table.

There are two bedrooms. The first has two single beds, and the second also has two single beds. Bed linen is provided and there is ample space to move around the rooms.

There is one bathroom.

For your convenience, a washing machine and an iron are at your disposal.

Outside, you have a terrace and a garden offering plenty of peace, space and privacy, right in the heart of the polder near Koudekerke. The terrace faces west with an unobstructed view towards the Dishoek dunes, allowing you to watch the sun set beautifully in the evening. You’ll find yourself in a rural setting by the water’s edge, whilst the sea is surprisingly close by.

Due to the historic interior, children and pets are not permitted in this accommodation.

Blauwe Hof offers multiple parking spaces, where you can park for free. The accommodation features a spacious entrance and a private entry. You can easily arrange everything during your stay.
