The Country Lodge at Watervliet is a charming, single-storey lodge for 2 guests near Kortgene in a peaceful countryside setting on the Veerse Meer. The fireplace makes it wonderfully cosy on cooler evenings. The lodge features a bedroom with a double bed and a bathroom with shower and toilet. The kitchen comes with a coffee maker, kettle, microwave, oven, hob, freezer and cooking utensils. There's a lovely dining table for shared meals. Outside, you'll find a fully enclosed garden with terrace and seating—ideal if you're travelling with a dog. You can store bicycles in the garden. A washing machine is available in the shared facilities. For families with young children, a high chair and cot are on hand. Pets are welcome.

Very nice accommodation, nice team.
We stayed here for a long weekend and had a wonderful time! The cottage was very nicely decorated, everything you need was there and the beds were very good. The dogs were also very happy with the large fenced garden :) We definitely want to come back again!
If you like peace and privacy, this is the place for you. The accommodation is a bit away from the hustle and bustle and is surrounded by fields. We felt very comfortable, enjoyed the large garden and tranquility and would definitely want to come back! I do have one small note for dog owners: although the garden is partially fenced and has dense shrubbery, our dog was still able to escape to the neighboring campsite and garden. However, the neighbors were all very friendly and understanding and we were able to quickly catch him again. So if your dog has a curious nature, he may need to be leashed.

The location of the cottage and the view were very idyllic and exactly what we wanted. Perhaps it is important as a recommendation for dog owners to point out that dog poop must be removed from the garden. It is a paradise for dogs, but you also have to be considerate of other guests.

We were here with our 6-month-old son. It is beautiful and everything worked perfectly. It is very quiet and you feel embraced by nature. The cats were very cute and probably belong to a neighboring farm. Highly recommended!
