  • to completely unburden our guests and owners at any time and in any form
  • maintain a sustainable business model, sustainable relationships and sustainable tourism
  • Create experiences everywhere – both in print and online
  • be transparent about our business model, pricing and our internal & external relationships

Our vision of sustainability

The world is changing rapidly. Similarly in the field of real estate development (smart homes, circular, biobased, etc.) in relation to tourism. The impact of (mass) tourism is increasingly being felt in local communities. There is unfortunately but rightly so, also increasing negativity surrounding the growth of tourism in Zeeland on the local community. In the future, we not only want to be of significance for our guests (giving the tourist the ultimate Zeeland experience) and the property owner (100% unburdening and generating maximum returns) but also Making a positive impact on the local community. Especially in the areas of livability, culture and sustainability. We want to respond to trends where people can increasingly work and live independently of location. We see developments where the guest stays somewhere for a longer period of time and uses the vacation home as a home. Small-scale, unique and local concepts will win out over mass production Where there is no perception and soul woven into it. Within now and two years we want to be mentioned in the same breath as the biggest and best tourism companies in Zeeland and be a decisive player to make a positive impact on tourist Zealand together.

Local welcome package

Products that come from the region in which the vacation home is located have a smaller environmental impact. This is often due to two factors: lower CO2 emissions in terms of transportation and lower energy consumption in production using raw materials from the region. That’s why we encourage the local economy and every guest receives a local welcome package including our self-designed travel guide and postcard, Zeeland apple juice (made in Krabbendijke) and Zeeland cookies (baked in Ede).

Local partners

Local partners are also important for a sustainable society. We work with job, landscaping and cleaning partners in the region. That way we provide jobs on each island and there is less need to travel.

Reisgids Hello Zeeland

Suppliers

We consciously work with local suppliers or choose suppliers where sustainability plays a major role. Bed linen for guests in Zeeuws-Vlaanderen comes directly from Wasserij Zeelandia in Eede. Each cottage also receives a cleaning kit that includes toilet paper from The Good Roll, which is 100% tree-friendly and sustainable. By choosing sustainable suppliers, we are working together for a better world.

Hello Zeeland Sponsor De Golfslag Domburg

Sponsorship

A sustainable relationship with the environment is important to us. We support local sports clubs (such as the tennis club in Breskens and in Domburg, the golf club in Domburg) and elementary school De Golfslag in Domburg (with kits for the field day). We also support charities, such as during the Renesse Day, where the proceeds went to the Holiday Home Thuredriht Foundation and the BAS Foundation. They support sick children by offering them modified vacations, among other things.
