De Botanist aan Zee

We kick off this list with a highly recommended one: a cozy place with a bohemian interior and lots of green accents. De Botanist aan Zee is located on the beach of Koudekerke, between Klein Valkenisse and Dishoek, making it perfect to combine with a walk in the dunes or on the beach. On the menu you will find surprising dishes, such as the Chicken Katsu and passion fruit cheesecake. In the evening you can enjoy delicious shared-dining dishes here. And best of all? De Botanist aan Zee is open 365 days a year!

One beach tent further you will find Kaapduin in Dishoek. The dunes here are high, but the short climb rewards you with a beautiful beach and a lovely beach pavilion. The atmosphere is reminiscent of Bali, with rattan chairs, light tones and a relaxed beach vibe. And as you would expect from a Zeeland beach pavilion, there are plenty of delicious seafood dishes on the menu. For a refreshing drink, the lemonades are a must-try. Cheers!

The following beach pavilion is located at Westduin in Vlissingen. It’s called Strandpaviljoen Piet Hein. It is a cozy pavilion, where the interior alternates cheerful cushions with marble tables and rattan chairs and a bar with green tiles. The menu is equally varied and surprising: a seasonal menu full of dishes and drinks that perfectly match the season. Perfect for lunch, dinner or just a drink overlooking the sea.

Bombaai Strandbar Westkapelle

Cheerful, that’s the word that immediately comes to mind at Bombaai Strandbar in Westkapelle. The menu is full of worldly flavors in the form of small dishes and bites, made with delicious local produce. The menu changes seasonally, so there is always something new to discover. There is also a wide range of drinks: from cocktails and homemade lemonades to Zeeland craft beers.

Strandar Oost

The last from this list is in Oostkapelle: Strandbar Oost. Open since March 2025, this beach pavilion welcomes you in a warm interior with lots of wood tones, a bar full of shells and special wooden artworks. You can come here for lunch, dinner or drinks. The menu features both meat and fish dishes and the bites are highly recommended.
