Neighborhood

Domburg is one of the most characterful coastal villages of Walcheren. The centre offers welcoming terraces, charming boutiques and good restaurants. The wide beach is within walking distance, as is the woodland. Middelburg and Veere are within easy reach for a day out.

Access

The rear garden has space for approximately 3 cars. Please note: the maximum entrance height is 190 cm. You have a private entrance. Pets are not permitted. Parking procedures and key information can be found in your personal Boarding Pass.

Space

The house is impressively spacious with seven bedrooms and three bathrooms (four toilets in total). The beds consist of double beds in various sizes. The interior respects the property's historic character. The kitchen is equipped with coffee maker, kettle, toaster, microwave, oven, hob, dishwasher and fridge. A washing machine and iron are available. A highchair, baby cot and stair gate are provided. Outside, there's a large garden with various seating areas, wonderful for enjoying the Zeeland sunshine.

Transit

At Markt 10, you can park for free in the back garden, with space for around three cars. Note that the maximum entry height is 190 cm. The accommodation has a private entrance, making access easy. Everything is straightforward to arrange during your stay.

Toplocatie! Mooie tuin! We vonden het meubilair oudbollig en muf. Verder adviseer ik oordoppen voor de kerkklok en galmen in het huis. Meubilair vervangen en het huis krijgt een 10

Great house smack in the middle of Domburg. Had a great time for a multi-generational vacation with grandparents, grandkids etc. We were initially a bit concerned that the interior looked a little dated, but loved the Charme when we arrived. Easy check in / out (lockbox). Host is a company and handles communication mostly through their own website / channels. Bit more complex to communicate, but no issues. Would def return.

Positive: In diesem Haus kann man sich sehr wohl fühlen. Grosse Zimmer, toller Garten, viele Badezimmer und WC's, Parkplätze auf dem Grundstück, schöner Sitz- und Essplatz (Platz für 10 Leute). Es hat im Haus und im Garten genug Platz für alle. Sehr nahe am Meer, nur 5 Minuten zu Fuss. Gut ausgestattete Küche, mit einem grossen Kühlschrank und Geschirrspüler. Schönes und genug Geschirr und Gläser. Grosser Esstisch. Negative: Zwei Sofas im Wohnzimmer sind sehr abgenutzt und schmutzig. Keine für die Fläche des Hauses angemessenen Besen oder Staubsauger. In der Beschreibung fehlt der Hinweis, dass die Treppen sehr steil und für ältere Menschen nicht geeignet sind.

Positive: Sehr stilvoll eingerichtetes altes Haus - untere Etage barrierefrei, obere Etagen leider nur über enge steile Treppenstiegen zu erreichen. Zimmer zur Straßenseite könnten im Sommer recht laut sein. Der Garten ist fantastisch und abgeschlossen. Ein Fön fehlte, ansonsten war vor allem im Küchenbereich die Ausstattung beeindruckend.

Ideal für eine Großgruppe oder Großfamilie. Alle Räume mit großzügigem Handwaschbecken ausgestattet, die Badezimmer mit getrennter Toilette. Räume sind gut erreichbar ohne andere zu belästigen. Einziges Manko: die Treppen sind sehr steil Holländisch-typisch.
