Neighborhood

Domburg is one of Zeeland's best-known seaside resorts, with a wide beach, charming shops and excellent restaurants. The centre is lively yet maintains a relaxed atmosphere. You'll find beautiful walking and cycling routes through the dunes and the De Manteling nature reserve. Oostkapelle and Middelburg are close by too.

Positive: Die Lage - 5 Minuten vom Strand / Zentrum entfernt. Negative: Es war relativ laut, da sich direkt nebenan die hintere Ausgangstür eines Restaurants befindet. Die Türe ließen sich leider nicht auf Kipp stellen, sondern nur ein kleines Fenster öffnen, was kaum für Belüftung sorgte. Durch den Geruch aus dem hinteren Bereich des Restaurants (Fisch vor allem) und nah stehenden Mülltonnen und vielen Fliegen war der Außenbereich leider nicht wirklich möglich zu genießen.

War alles in Ordnung und gemütliche Innenstadt, als auch Strand fußläufig in sehr wenigen Minuten zu erreichen. Da kann man auch darüber hinwegsehen, dass keine Spülmaschinentabs da waren und weniger darüber hinweg sehen konnten wir leider, dass die Dusche durchgehend viel zu heiß war und man sie nicht auf kaltstellen konnte. Aber dies ist wahrscheinlich schnell zu reparieren und ist klagen auf hohem Niveau. Wir buchen gerne wieder!!

Die kleine Unterkunft liegt fussläufig zum Ortskern und Strand. Leider besteht im ganzen Haus eine starke Feuchtigkeit, was man auch trotz der aufgestellten Entfeuchter, immer wahrnimmt.

Wir hatten drei schöne Tage in Domburg. Die Lage war optimal, um Zeit am Meer und in der Stadt zu verbringen. Die Wohnung war fürs Übernachten genau richtig. Für längere Aufenthalte würden wir etwas Gemütlicheres und besser ausgestattetes empfehlen. Alles war sauber und die Kommunikation und der Check in war einfach und unkompliziert.

Positive: Nähe zum Zentrum und zum Strand Negative: Der penetrante Nikotin-Gestank ausgehend von d Wohn-Küche. Trotz mehrfacher Versuche d Geruchs-Belästigung einzudämmen, hat dies nicht geklappt. Der Aufenthalt war daher schlecht. Glücklicherweise waren wir nur wenige Stunden i d Nacht in d Unterkunft

Positive: Die Lage in der Innenstadt. Gute Ausstattung. Viel Platz für Sachen. Negative: Der Aussenbereich der Unterkunft war voll Unkraut und auch sonst sehr trostlos. Ein Anstrich und ein Gärtner würden Wunder wirken.
