Dunopark 11 is a villa for 8 in Oostkapelle. You’re close to the sea, in a rural setting with a garden with lawns. The kitchen includes an oven, microwave, stove, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, coffee machine, kettle, toaster, blender, wine glasses, cookware and a dining table. There are four bedrooms and three bathrooms. Outside you have a large terrace, an outdoor shower and a trampoline. A washer and dryer come in handy. For children there’s a baby bed, high chair, stair gate, kids’ tableware, children’s books and toys, and board games. Store bikes in the wooden shed (not the green one).

Visit Terra Maris on Duinvlietweg; in the landscape garden there’s a motte castle where kids can climb, and through De Manteling you can walk to Kasteel Westhove. In the morning, pick up bolussen and fresh bread at Bakkerij Koppejan on the Dorpsstraat and choose a bench in the woods for a quiet picnic. For a playful afternoon, drive to Hof Poppendamme in Grijpskerke, with large nature play fields, a water play area and pancakes on the terrace.

You’re staying in Oostkapelle on Walcheren, in Dunopark. The village borders De Manteling and Oranjezon. Between ancient woods, dune lanes and wide beaches you can enjoy great walks and bike rides. Visit Kasteel Westhove and the Terra Maris museum on the edge of the village, where you can see how forest turns into dune and sea.

Want to get on the water? Head to Vrouwenpolder and Veere on the Veerse Meer for sailing and SUP. Domburg is about 3 km away for beach and art. Veere is around 10 km, Middelburg about 12 km with the Abbey and shops. Westkapelle is about 8 km along the coast. In and around Oostkapelle you’ll find beach pavilions, bike rentals and routes that lead you through Walcheren’s landscape.

You can park for free at the house. Store bikes in the wooden shed, not the green one. Pets are not allowed. You’ll find all further practical info about arrival and access in your Boarding Pass.

Inside it feels spacious and light, with a relaxed vibe where you can settle down after a day by the sea.

On the ground floor is a spacious living room with open kitchen and a long dining table; through the sliding doors you step straight onto the terrace. The kitchen is fully equipped with a coffee machine, kettle, toaster, microwave, oven, stove, cookware, plates and cutlery, wine glasses, a blender, dishwasher, fridge and freezer, so you can cook together easily and linger at the table.

There are four bedrooms. Downstairs you’ll find a bedroom with its own bathroom, ideal if you prefer to sleep on one level. Upstairs are three bedrooms; one room has a private shower and sink and another bedroom has its own sink. All rooms have a wardrobe for your things and bed linen is provided. Travelling with kids? A baby bed and high chair are ready for you, and there’s children’s tableware. You’ll also find children’s books, toys and board games.

The bathrooms are conveniently spread over the floors, three in total, and there’s a separate toilet on the first floor. On the same floor you’ll find a laundry room with washing machine, dryer and ironing board.

Outside you have plenty of space: a large terrace with garden furniture, lawns to play on and a trampoline. After the beach, rinse off under the outdoor shower. The detached villa sits in the countryside and is about a ten-minute walk from the beach.
