Boven de Babbelaar consists of two modern flats that have recently been fully renovated. The flats are situated on the first floor, right on the charming village square in Oostkapelle. Thanks to their contemporary décor and comfortable facilities, they make a lovely base for a holiday on the Walcherse coast.

Flat 1 sleeps four people and has two bedrooms and a bathroom. Apartment 2 sleeps five people and has three bedrooms and a bathroom. Both apartments are fully furnished, ensuring you have everything you need during your stay. On sunny days, the shared roof terrace is a lovely spot to sit outside.

Its central location is one of the biggest advantages of Boven de Babbelaar. As soon as you step outside, you’re right in the middle of the village square, with a variety of shops, outdoor cafés and restaurants within easy reach. This means you don’t always have to use the car and can experience Oostkapelle at a leisurely pace. Nature lovers will also feel right at home here. It’s about an eight-minute cycle to the wide beach at Oostkapelle, where you can get some fresh air, sunbathe or enjoy a long walk along the beach. The De Manteling van Walcheren nature reserve is also nearby. If you want to explore the wider area, you can easily reach other well-known places on Walcheren. Why not visit the charming town of Domburg, the historic town of Veere or the lively town of Middelburg?

As the name suggests, the flats are situated above De Babbelaar. A cosy meeting place where you can enjoy lunch, dinner or a portion of fresh chips to take away. There’s also a lovely play area for families, making it a great spot to relax together for a while.

As the apartments are situated above the restaurant, during opening hours you can enjoy the aroma of freshly prepared dishes and the lively atmosphere of the village square from the roof terrace or through the open windows.
