You’re on Walcheren, in Arnemuiden, right by the Veerse Meer. It’s a water-rich area of dikes, creeks and polders that’s great for walking and cycling. On the Veerse Meer you can sail, SUP or cruise gently, with plenty of pretty places to tie up.

Veere is close by, with the harbor, the Grote Kerk and the Campveerse Toren. Middelburg offers historic streets, the Abdij and the Lange Jan. For sea and dunes, drive to Domburg or Oostkapelle; here you’ll find wide beaches and nature reserves like De Manteling and Oranjezon. At Terra Maris you can learn more about the landscape of Walcheren. In Vlissingen you can stroll the boulevard and watch the shipping go by.

This way you can mix watersports on the Veerse Meer with beach days on the North Sea coast and visits to the towns of Walcheren, all close together.

You can park for free at the house; there’s a charging station by the parking area for your electric car. You can store bikes at the accommodation, not covered. Your dog is welcome. For arrival times, directions, parking and other practical info, check your Boarding Pass.

Inside, everything feels light and spacious, with an open-plan living area that opens onto the waterside terrace via a sliding door, allowing you to soak up the rural character of the surroundings.

The kitchen is fully equipped with, amongst other things, a hob, oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, coffee machine, kettle, plates and cutlery, wine glasses and cookware; you can sit comfortably together at the dining table for breakfast or long evenings.

There are three bedrooms, one of which is on the ground floor. The rooms are tastefully furnished and equipped with bed linen and a wardrobe, so you can easily store your belongings and settle in straight away.

With two bathrooms, you have plenty of space to freshen up without getting in each other’s way. Towels are provided and there is a washing machine available.

Life outdoors is just as pleasant as indoors. The sliding door leads you to the terrace right by Lake Veere, where you can look out over the water. On the first floor, there is a second outdoor area with a view of the lake. In the garden and on the terrace, there are outdoor seating areas so you can always find a spot in the sun or shade. At the water’s edge, you share a jetty with a swimming ladder with the neighbouring property, ideal for a refreshing dip or mooring a small boat.
