Veerse Wende 6p Fenced is a villa for six people in Arnemuiden. Situated on the waterfront in a rural setting, it offers a peaceful retreat, complete with a balcony and a fully enclosed terrace featuring a door and seating. There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms. A washing machine and tumble dryer are provided. Bicycles can be stored at the property. A cot is available for families.

Visit Museum Arnemuiden for the fishing history and walk to the Sas van Arnemuiden, where you can watch ships lock through from the bridge.

Rent a canoe or SUP at Kanoa Outdoor & Events on the Veerse Meer and paddle to the island Haringvreter to spot fallow deer.

For a day in town, head to Middelburg: Mini Mundi is great with kids, and then grab something easy in the café at De Drvkkery on the Markt.

You stay in Arnemuiden on Walcheren, in the municipality of Middelburg. The area revolves around the Veerse Meer, with quiet creeks, islets and long shores. On and around the water you can sail, SUP or take a trip by canoe or sloop boat. Pleasant cycling and walking routes follow the lake with views of marinas and polder landscape.

In the mood for city and culture? Middelburg with the Abbey, museums and shops is about 6 km away. Veere on the lake is about 8 km, with its historic quay and marina. For dunes and forest, Walcheren is perfect: walk in De Manteling and at Oranjezon, and visit Terra Maris by Kasteel Westhove. Find more maritime vibes on the boulevard in Vlissingen, about a 12 km drive.

You can park for free at the accommodation. Store your bikes at the accommodation; this is not covered. Pets are not allowed. For arrival and access information, check your Boarding Pass.

Inside, the atmosphere is light and relaxed, with the living room opening onto the terrace and the water via a sliding door.

The open-plan kitchen adjoins this and is equipped with, amongst other things, a coffee machine, kettle, microwave, oven, hob, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, crockery and cutlery, wine glasses and cookware; you can easily pull up a chair at the dining table for breakfast or a long evening.

There is one bedroom on the ground floor. On the first floor, there are two further bedrooms, one of which is a master bedroom with an en-suite bathroom. The second bathroom is located on the first floor. Each room has a wardrobe and bed linen. For the little ones, there is a cot and a high chair.

For longer stays, it’s handy to have a washing machine and dryer.

At the waterside, you step onto the terrace through the sliding door. The veranda is fully enclosed with a small door that can be locked, providing peace of mind when you have children. The garden features outdoor furniture, and on the first floor there is an additional terrace with a view of Lake Veere. This is where you can best appreciate the rural setting by the water.

You share a jetty with a swimming ladder with the neighbouring property.
