Neighborhood

Arnemuiden is a historic fishing village on Walcheren, located on the Veerse Meer. The area is peaceful and water-rich, perfect for those who love nature and peace. Middelburg is a short distance away, and via the Veerse Meer you can head towards Veere or the Zeeland coast. The combination of water, nature and the city within cycling distance makes this a special place.

Access

The houseboat is accessible via a walk of approximately 700 metres from the car park. A handy trolley is ready for your luggage on arrival. Please note: depending on water levels, the step onto the boat can be large. Parking is available at the large De Arne car park. One dog is welcome on board. Information about access can be found in the Boarding Pass.

Space

Houseboat de Arne is a brand-new houseboat for four people, located in the peaceful De Arne harbour in Arnemuiden. The master bedroom has a comfortable double bed (140x200 cm), the second bedroom a cosy bunk bed. The open living and dining area has large windows with panoramic views over the Veerse Meer. The kitchen is equipped with coffee maker, kettle, microwave, oven, hob, fridge, wine glasses and dining table. Outside are two terraces: at the front a cosy seating area under a canopy, ideal for a morning coffee or a good book. On the roof awaits a luxury roof terrace where you can fully enjoy the sun and views over the lake.

Transit

Free parking is available at the large car park 'de Arne'. The entrance is accessible through the gate at the back of the boat, on the engine side. Everything can be easily arranged during your stay.

Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable dans ce petit port. Nous avons aimé le fait de partir à l’aventure pour rejoindre le bateau. La vie est magnifique et reposante. Petit bémol sur la poussière dans le bateau, ainsi que quelques problèmes avec les eaux usée (remontée d’odeurs). Il y a également du bruit provenant du petit local technique à l’arrière qui nous a embêté pour dormir.

Sehr nette und freundliche Begegnung / Gastgeber beim Check-In als auch Check-Out :) sehr schönes; gepflegtes Hausboot, wie auf dem Bildern abgebildet. Für meine Kinder ein kurzes Abenteuer. Man muss sich im Klaren sein, dass es ein Hausboot ist und ebendrum etwas kleiner ausfällt ;) zu zweit würden wir die Unterkunft sicher nochmal buchen.
