On May 2, the party erupts during Hrieps in Grijpskerke. This popular Zeeland music festival is celebrating its 30th edition this year and is going big with 4 marquees and 7 stages. With artists like Frans Bauer and Snollebollekes, the atmosphere is guaranteed to be good. The day before, on May 1, there is Hrieps Junior: a special program for children. Expect plenty of live music, fun and a party you don’t want to miss!
Sinfonietta String Festival Zeeland
During the Whitsun weekend, on May 23 and 24, 2026, the Sinfonietta String Festival Zeeland will take place in Veere and Middelburg. This atmospheric music festival revolves around classical music in special locations. The program includes a music route through Veere, Schubert’s string quintet and The Four Seasons. The performance of Hatem & Suleika also completes the event. A unique event for lovers of classical music in Zeeland!
High Tide Festival
Another music festival on the Whitsun weekend is the High Tide Festival. Are you staying in Zeeuws-Vlaanderen and are you a lover of classical music? Then this festival is a nice one to have in your calendar. This three-day festival takes place in the picturesque village of Groede and is all about classical music.

Herring festivities Breskens
On June 20 and 21, 2026, Breskens will again be home to the Herring Festival. For two days the Spuiplein turns into a vibrant place full of music, good food and fun for young and old. Enjoy live performances on the open-air stage, taste fresh mates, oysters and other delicacies at the food trucks and immerse yourself in the lively atmosphere of this weekend. There is also plenty for children to do, including a carnival, face painting and fun activities.
Zeeland Jazz Festival
For two weekends in June, Zeeland is all about music during the Zeeland Jazz Festival. From June 12 to 14 in Terneuzen and from June 19 to 21 in Middelburg, enjoy a diverse program full of jazz, funk, soul and more. With a mix of national and international artists, from intimate concerts to danceable performances, there is plenty to experience.

Concert at SEA is without doubt one of the most famous festivals in Zeeland. From June 25 to 27, the Brouwersdam turns into a vibrant place full of music, overlooking the sea. Here you will enjoy a mix of great Dutch artists and surprising performances – something for everyone.

On July 17 and 18, 2026, the City Of Dance Festival will take place in Middelburg. This colorful festival is known for its wide variety of music and stages. With a mix of music, atmosphere and experience, City of Dance is a versatile festival where you can easily spend a whole day (or weekend).
